Robert Wood is a seasoned cybersecurity professional with extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Founder and CEO of Sidekick Security and Co-Founder and Content Creator at Soft Side of Cyber, Robert also holds a fellowship at the Institute for Critical Infrastructure Technology. Previous positions include Chief Information Security Officer at the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services and Chief Security Officer at both Simon Data and SourceClear. Robert's career began with a focus on security consulting at Cigital, where multiple roles were held, leading to a solid foundation in information security engineering at Secure Network Technologies. Education includes a Bachelor of Science in Information Management & Technology with a concentration in Information Security from Syracuse University and an Associate of Science in Humanities and Social Sciences from Cayuga Community College.

Sidekick is headquartered in Maryland but has a distributed workforce across the United States.
