Simon Werner

Simon Werner is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in marine asset management and offshore logistics. As the Global Head of Marine Asset Management at Siemens Gamesa since November 2022, Simon leads a global team responsible for strategy, budgets, and chartering of offshore construction logistics, while overseeing quality standards and market development. Previous roles at Siemens Gamesa included Senior Fleet Manager and Global Marine Implementation & Operations Manager, focusing on logistics strategy and vessel management. Simon's career began with positions at Hamburg Sud and DAL Agency, progressing to Offshore Broker at Global Renewables Shipbrokers GmbH, where Simon specialized in vessel brokerage and offshore wind project management. Simon holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies of Shipping & Chartering from the University of Applied Sciences Bremen and has achieved qualifications such as Project Manager (IPMA Level D).
