Ed Jinks, PhD CEng, is a Simulation and Test Portfolio Developer with extensive experience in the aerospace sector, spanning 18 years in both academia and industry. Currently, Ed is an A&D Engineering Portfolio Development Executive at Siemens, focusing on engineering solutions and digital twins. Ed also serves as a Senior Associate Teacher and Visiting Lecturer at the University of Bristol, imparting knowledge on modern propulsion systems and aircraft design. Previously, Ed has held various roles, including Performance Team Leader at GE Aviation and Senior Aerodynamics Engineer at MBDA, while also contributing to research in aeroelastics and fluid-structure interactions. Ed earned both a PhD and a Master of Engineering in Aeronautics from Imperial College London.
