Fernando Jorge

Fernando Jorge is an experienced Energy Risk Manager, currently leading risk management activities for clients across multiple European markets at Siemens. With a strong foundation in petroleum engineering from the Catholic University of Angola and a Master’s degree in Sustainable Energy Systems from the University of Edinburgh, Fernando has a keen interest in sustainability and its impact on reducing carbon emissions. They previously worked at Mitie Energy, where they managed hedges for electricity and gas portfolios while supporting risk management strategies. Fernando co-founded and co-managed a marble and granite trading company and completed an internship at Aker Solutions in subsea infrastructure maintenance.
