Giles Haley is currently the Head of Engineering Safety & Assurance at Siemens, a position they have held since 2025. Previously, Giles served as the Head of UK Rolling Stock Approvals at Siemens Mobility, having progressed through various engineering roles since joining the company in 2007. Their early career included a position as Fleet Reliability Engineer at London Underground and Engineering Manager at Chiltern Railways. Outside of their professional work, Giles is actively involved with the Naval Cadet Corps, serving as Commanding Officer since 2018, and also leads as Rifle Captain for the Bedfordshire Smallbore Shooting Association. Giles earned a BEng in Engineering from Lancaster University between 1990 and 1994.
