James Loach

James Loach is a leader in machine learning and artificial intelligence, currently serving as the Head of Research for Senseye Predictive Maintenance at Siemens. They founded Sinophenia Ltd., a company dedicated to developing algorithms for optimizing the learning of the Chinese language. James holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Particle Physics from the University of Oxford, where their research contributed to significant recognitions such as the 2015 Nobel Prize in Physics. Prior to their current role, James held positions including Chief Scientist at Senseye and Distinguished Research Fellow at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. They have also contributed to multiple high-profile research projects and mentored numerous students throughout their career.
