Jim Cook

Jim Cook is an experienced aircraft and production technician with a robust background in mechanical engineering. Jim served as an Aircraft Technician with the Royal Air Force from April 2008 to January 2016, focusing on the maintenance of aircraft mechanical systems, fault diagnosis of hydraulic systems and gas turbine engines, and conducting composite material repairs. More recently, in May 2022, Jim held various roles at Siemens, including Production Manager, Depot Supervisor, Deputy Supervisor, and Maintenance Technician, where responsibilities included managing maintenance activities for rolling stock, resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards. Jim holds an NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering from DCAE Cosford and has earned 9 GCSEs at grades A* - C from Ripley St Thomas.
