Jon Byard, PE, is the Solutions Architect Team Lead at Siemens Industry, Inc., where they manage a team focused on hyperscale customers and turnkey projects. Jon began their career as a relay design engineering technician with Carolina Power & Light in 1987 and has accumulated extensive experience in protective relay systems, medium and high voltage apparatus, and control systems. They have held various positions, including Business Development Manager and Field Service Operations Manager, and possess a strong background in substation operations and project management. Jon earned an AAS in Electrical Engineering Technology from Fayetteville Technical Community College.
