Jonathan Byers

Jonathan Byers is the Manager of Service Engineering at Siemens, leading a team of engineers and data stewards focused on enhancing the reliability, maintainability, and serviceability of the Siemens fleet of locomotives and coaches. Over the years, Jonathan has successfully expanded their team from four to twelve members while prioritizing reliability improvements and data integrity throughout the lifecycle of the company's assets. Prior to their current role, Jonathan held positions as a Project Engineer at Chromalloy, Mechanical Engineer I at Alpha Research and Technology, and Engineering Assistant at California State University, Chico, where they developed a strong foundation in engineering practices. Jonathan earned a degree from CSU Chico, completing their education in 2008.
