Lars Loewenstein is the Senior Vice President of Siemens Mobility GmbH, responsible for the global Metro business since 2018. After completing their Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at RWTH Aachen University in 2003, they joined Siemens and held various leadership roles in engineering and project management until 2018. Lars serves on the scientific advisory board of ZEVrail since 2017, driving advancements toward zero-emission rolling stock using batteries and hydrogen. Their passion remains centered on mobility and enhancing customer experiences.
