Mark Backhaus

Mark Backhaus is currently the Head of Factory at Siemens, overseeing operations at the Schaltanlagenwerk in Frankfurt. With a strong background in production and process management, they previously held various roles at Siemens, including Head of Global Function Technology and Head of Production, where they were responsible for operational excellence and strategic oversight of international business units. Mark earned a Diplom in Industrial Engineering from the University of Paderborn and has extensive experience in improving quality management and lean processes throughout their career. They started their education with a degree as a Werkzeugmechniker and continued to develop their skills in manufacturing and leadership.
