Michael Plößner is currently an IT Project Lead for Strategic IT/OT Initiatives at Siemens, where they drive digital transformation across over 100 factories worldwide by integrating information and operational technology. Previously, Michael held various roles at Siemens, including Senior Software Engineer in Machine Learning, and has extensive experience in agile methodologies and cloud-based solutions. They earned a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg and a Bachelor’s Degree in Production Engineering and Planning from the University of Bayreuth. Michael also completed a semester abroad in Computer Science at California State University-Fullerton and has undertaken several internships in engineering and product development.
