Nigel Platt has extensive experience in project management and hardware development across various esteemed companies. Starting as a Project Manager at Schlumberger Industries from 1989 to 1997, Nigel focused on the development of industrial flow meters utilizing fluidic oscillator technology. Transitioning to Siemens Standard Drives from 1997 to 2001, Nigel served as Hardware Development Team Leader managing product development teams for the MidiMaster and MicroMaster products, later taking on the role of Project Manager for the MM4, G110D, and G120D variable speed drive products. Most recently, in 2013, Nigel held the position of System Engineering Manager at Siemens Energy, overseeing AC and HVDC power system engineering and R&D coordination. Nigel holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Science, specializing in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, from University College Oxford, completed in 1989.
