Thomas Kern

Thomas Kern is a Senior System Engineer for TrainIT at Siemens, a position they have held since 2019. Previously, Kern gained extensive experience in engineering roles at several companies, including ABB, where they worked as a Development Engineer from 1999 to 2005, and at Ruf Telematik AG, where they served in various leadership positions until 2007. Kern started their career as an engineering intern at E. Dold & Söhne KG in 1991 and later worked at ABB Verkehrssysteme AG / Adtranz from 1994 to 1999 as a Development Engineer and Department Head. They hold a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Electrical Engineering from Hochschule Furtwangen University, which they completed in 1994.
