Umer Anwer

Umer Anwer serves as the Head of Finance for Electrification and Automation and E Mobility at Siemens Middle East Limited, while also acting as a Management Consultant and Program Lead for COP28. With extensive experience in financial leadership, Umer has held the position of CFO in a publicly listed company with strict compliance requirements and has a strong background in risk management and internal controls from previous roles at Siemens and Ernst & Young. Umer's career began at KPMG in Pakistan, where significant auditing experience was gained. Umer's educational qualifications include affiliate membership with CIPFA and associate membership with the Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants, along with a foundation in Chartered Accountancy and a Bachelor of Commerce from Karachi University.
