Ben LeValley has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and research. Ben started their career as a Junior Developer at Siepe in January 2017 and eventually became a Software Developer II in June 2021. In this role, they are responsible for developing software systems. Prior to working at Siepe, Ben worked as a Programmer/Software Developer, where they developed systems for data analysis and scientific computing, including building a simulation of a laser. This role lasted for a month in January 2017. Before that, Ben worked as a Research Assistant at Kansas State University from May 2014 to January 2016. In this role, they used MATLAB, C/C++, and Python to develop computer simulations of laser experiments and presented their work at a conference organized by the Optical Society of America. Currently, Ben is seeking a programming/software development role.
