Stephen Mitchell

Stephen Mitchell is an accomplished electrical engineer with extensive experience spanning over two decades in various roles. Currently serving as an Electrical Engineer IV/V at Sierra Lobo Inc since June 2012, Stephen supports the ESC contract in the Payload Engineering group, focusing on developing electronics for life sciences missions aboard the ISS. Previous positions include Sr. Electrical Engineer at DRS, where Stephen researched and developed payload electronics for a Disturbed Earth Prototype Sensor, and at Aeronix, Inc., where Stephen designed a military deployment-focused gigabit Ethernet switch. Early career experience includes a role as an Electrical Engineer at Emerge Interactive. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology, complemented by education at Maynard Evans High.
