Stephen Chan

Stephen Chan is a highly experienced aerospace engineer with a robust background in flight sciences and aerodynamic analysis. Currently serving as the Flight Sciences Directorate Deputy Lead and Senior Principal Engineer at Sierra Space since January 2021, Stephen oversees a team of over 50 engineers. Previously, Stephen held key positions at Sierra Nevada Corporation, Raytheon Missile Systems, Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, and Pratt & Whitney, focusing on aerodynamic validation and testing across various aerospace systems, including the Dream Chaser spacecraft and the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. Stephen holds a Master's Degree in Aerospace Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University.
