Jonathan Cubides is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in software architecture and development. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Software Engineer at SiFive since January 2022, Jonathan leads the Bare Metal Software team, focusing on maintaining high-quality, ergonomic software stacks, creating a FreeRTOS SMP port, and contributing to the FreeRTOS public repository. Previously, in a System Architect role at IN Groupe, Jonathan defined ciphering algorithms for the Digital Covid Certificate. Jonathan has also held significant positions at Neotion, where Jonathan defined middleware for Conditional Access Modules and redesigned embedded software, and at Digital Keystone, where Jonathan contributed to video streaming technology. Education includes a Master’s degree in Telecom IT from Telecom Bretagne and a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics from Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
