Lun Li

Lun Li is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in verification and engineering management within the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as Senior Director of Engineering at SiFive since October 2019, Lun Li oversees verification teams and has a strong focus on enhancing productivity, efficiency, and quality of verification processes. Previous roles include Director of Engineering at SiFive, leading RISC-V based CPU verification efforts, and Director of Verification at Hygon Austin R&D Center, where Lun Li established a significant team and successfully managed the verification of X86-based CPUs. Lun Li has also held key positions at Samsung Austin R&D Center and Texas Instruments, contributing to verification processes for various architectures including ARM and mini-SOCs. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Southern Methodist University, a Master's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Tulsa, and a Bachelor's in Telecommunications Engineering from Beijing Jiaotong University.
