Pavan Kumar Madasu

Pavan Kumar Madasu is a staff engineer specializing in design verification (DV) with extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Currently employed at SiFive since January 2020, Pavan focuses on MMU verification for out-of-order cores. Previously, at Samsung Austin R&D Center from October 2013 to January 2020, Pavan served as a senior engineer, verifying L2 cache for ARM V8 cores, and worked as a consultant on functional coverage and verification for the load-store unit in Samsung's Mongoose processor. Earlier experience includes roles as an ASIC designer at Ericsson, an ASIC design engineer at Advanced Micro Devices, and a senior design engineer at Conexant Systems, contributing to various projects including testbench development and verification for gaming consoles and wireless devices. Pavan holds an MTech in Electrical and Electronics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, completed in 2006.
