Kate Looft

Kate Looft has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Kate is currently working as the VP of Human Resources & Customer Care at Sifter since June 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Customer Care Client Manager at Alight Solutions from August 2020 to June 2022, where they managed a call center for a Fortune 500 client. From 2015 to 2019, they owned and headed sales at Tassinong Farms LLC/Tassinong Farms Food & Wine, overseeing a hydroponic vegetable farm, a farm-to-table restaurant, and a wine bar.

Kate has also worked as a Solution Architect - HR Cloud Technology at Appirio from May 2014 to July 2015, and at Aon Hewitt from April 2012 to May 2014. In both roles, they designed solution architecture, implemented technology, and managed projects for HR systems. Kate also served as a Technology Consultant at task, llc from July 2011 to April 2012.

Earlier in their career, Kate worked as an HR Project Manager at Coyote Logistics from February 2010 to May 2011, where they managed various HR projects and implemented a new HRIS and Payroll system. Kate was also a part of Hewitt Associates from March 2004 to December 2008, where they developed and implemented HR outsourcing solutions and managed system integration.

Their work experience also includes being a Global Compensation Specialist at UBS Financial Services from May 2000 to March 2004 and a Service Center Manager - Benefits Administration at Hewitt Associates from February 1998 to March 2000. In these roles, they managed compensation plans, administered global HR systems, and oversaw service center operations.

Kate Looft attended Indiana University Bloomington from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. Kate further pursued their education and obtained additional certifications, including a Health & Wellness Coaching Certificate from Emory Continuing Education in October 2022, a Workday Functional HCM Consultant certification from Workday in June 2012, and a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from SHRM in January 2006.
