Birendra Singh

Birendra Singh has extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Birendra started their career as a Technical Executive at Methodex Systems Ltd. in 1993 and worked there until 1994. Birendra then moved on to LCC Infotech, where they served as Senior Systems Manager from 1995 to 2000, leading product and technology roadmap initiatives. In 2001, they joined IP-NET Technologies as a Principal Consultant, specializing in network integration and IT solutions. Birendra later joined Global Telelinks Limited in 2003, where they served as Operations Head and played a key role in implementing and launching pin-less calling services. In 2005, they joined Sachitel Technologies Limited in the UK as Chief Technology Officer, responsible for deploying Mera-MVTS for telecom trading. Currently, Birendra holds a leadership position at Sify Technologies Limited, serving as Vice President of Voice Technology Operations & Collaboration Services Delivery.

Birendra Singh obtained an M.B.A. in systems from AIMA-CME between 1995 and 1997. More recently, in 2022-2023, they completed the PG Level Advanced Certification Programme in 5G Technologies with AI and Cloud from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc). In addition, Birendra Singh has obtained several certifications, including Digital Transformation Foundations in 2022, and Digital Strategy, Digital Transformation, Introduction to Prompt Engineering for Generative AI, artificial intelligence, Generative AI for Business Leaders, and Nano Tips for Using ChatGPT for Business with Rachel Woods in 2023. Birendra also obtained a certification in 5G Technology Strategy: Next-Generation Mobile Networking from LinkedIn in 2021.
