Vinny O'Connor

Vinny O'Connor has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Vinny started their career in 2009 as an IT Technician at the University Hospital Galway IT Department, where they gained valuable experience in troubleshooting and customer relations. Vinny later worked as a Club Promotion Officer at Galway United Football Club and as a Deputy at Stocktaking.ie, demonstrating their ability to work under pressure in a time-sensitive environment. Vinny then took on the role of Media Officer at Galway United Football Club, where they created and maintained social media platforms and handled club communications. Vinny also worked as a Matchday Social Media Coordinator for the Football Association of Ireland. Vinny joined PFH Technology Group as an Information Technology Support Engineer and then transitioned to Sports Interactive (SI) as an Assistant Researcher, conducting data analysis and player research for their football management game. Currently, they are a Trading Risk Operator at Amelco Limited.

Vinny O'Connor attended Colaiste Iognaid in Galway from 2001 to 2007, but did not receive a degree or specify a field of study during that time. Following this, Vinny enrolled at Galway Technical Institute (GTI) in 2007 and completed their studies in Information Technology in 2008.
