Harry Pierre Simon

VP, Marketing, Glaucoma at Sight Sciences

Pierre is an accomplished surgical and pharmaceutical leader, bringing over 15 years of progressive and international ophthalmic experience in sales, technical & consultative training, sales leadership, strategic marketing, product lifecycle management, and new product ideation.

Pierre brings to Sight Sciences a proven track record of performance and unique ability to “Think Beyond” that will serve us well in his appointment to Vice President of Glaucoma Marketing.

Pierre started his career with Alcon in 2008, and over his tenure excelled in many core positions. These positions included increasing responsibility in people leadership, KOL development, and global marketing. Pierre earned multiple President’s/Master’s clubs, Circle of Excellence, and Leadership Awards. His most recent responsibilities at Alcon included global marketing for Alcon’s core surgical portfolio. He has a passion for mentoring, developing talent, changing market treatment paradigms, as well as creating long lasting partnerships with surgeons & KOLs.

With a highly successful track record in developing and delivering high-quality products and commercial launch readiness programs, Pierre has led cross-functional, high-performing teams to execute strategy, develop solutions, drive projects to completion, and build programs in alignment with executive objectives. Additionally, Pierre was the Chair of Alcon’s AACE (African Ancestry Cultivating Excellence) organization, an employee resource group focused on enhancing the culture of Diversity & Inclusion for all employees while ensuring equitable opportunities for advancement and development.

Pierre holds two Bachelor’s Degrees in Marketing & Finance, and an MBA with a focus in Business Portfolio Development & Sales Leadership. Additionally, Pierre holds an International Degree in Economics, from Charles University- Prague, Czech Republic. He is a two-time published author, a TEDx speaker, and sits on the board for North Dallas ISD, mentoring students on key topics such as financial literacy, transitions into university studies, working in “Corporate America”, etc.
