Yonatan Samet

Yonatan Samet is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in algorithm development, machine learning, and computer vision applications. As Chief Architect and Algorithm Development Manager at Mantis Vision, Yonatan oversaw the development of algorithms for a structured-light depth sensor and played a crucial role in integrating the sensor into the inaugural Google Tango device. Later, as CTO and Director of Automotive Technologies at eyeSight Technologies, Yonatan focused on innovative in-cabin solutions for driver monitoring and gesture recognition. Prior experience includes project management and algorithm development roles at Mobileye, where success included launching the first automotive product with pedestrian detection. Additionally, Yonatan served as a part-time lecturer at The Interdisciplinary Center and held a position as System Engineer at Pearls of Wisdom. Currently, Yonatan is the CTO at Sightec. Academic credentials include a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Mathematics, both awarded magna cum laude from The Hebrew University.
