Derek T. has over seven years of experience in the manufacturing engineering field. In 2021, they began working as a Manufacturing Engineer for SightLine Applications, Inc. From 2018-2021, they were a Manufacturing Engineer II at Tektronix. In 2017, they worked as a Manufacturing Engineering Technician at Intel Corporation, providing maintenance, troubleshooting, and engineering support for clean room fab tools. In 2016, they were a Manufacturing Engineer at Oregon Tech Racing (FSAE), where they designed, manufactured, and tested/validated the steering system for the vehicle. Additionally, in 2016, they were a Manufacturing Engineering Intern and a MECOP Engineering Intern at Vigor, LLC. In 2015, they were a MECOP Engineering Intern at ATI. Finally, in 2014, they were an Engineering Intern at Darex, LLC.

Derek T. attended Southern Oregon University from 2011 to 2012 and then went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering Technology from Oregon Institute of Technology from 2012 to 2017.
