Patrick Whewell has six years of work experience. Patrick started as a Component Design Intern at Intel Corporation in 2011. In 2012, they were a Developer Intern at Rosetta, where they worked on SharePoint Development and built a website for a non-profit organization from start to finish. In 2013, they worked as an Associate Professional Staff at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, where they created a GUI in Python to communicate with antenna measurement devices. Patrick also worked as a Software Engineer II at Garmin International in 2013. In 2016, they worked as a Project Coordinator at DevelopmentNow. Since 2017, they have been a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at SightLine Applications, Inc., where they have implemented Non Uniformity Correction and Dead Pixel Replacement for Thermal cameras across all platforms, developed and implemented an automated license unlocked server, and used tools and languages such as C/C++, Qt, SVN, Visual Studio 2013 & 2017, Code Composer Studio, WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux), Ubuntu, Caffe, Git, and Jenkins.

Patrick Whewell obtained their Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The Ohio State University between 2008 and 2012. Patrick also holds a Certified Scrum Master certification from the Scrum Alliance.
