Dipen Patel

Dipen Patel is an accomplished engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at SmartRent since February 2023, Dipen has previously held significant roles at SightPlan from April 2015, including Vice President of Server Engineering and Director of Server Engineering, alongside experience as a Lead Back-end Engineer. Prior positions include Senior Software Engineer at Voxeo, Senior Manager of Software Development at ClearSky Technologies, Inc. and PreferredVoice, and various roles at DigitalSpeech. Dipen holds an MBA in Strategy from the SMU Cox School of Business, a Master's in Software Engineering from Southern Methodist University, and a Bachelor's in Computer Science and Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington.
