Tim Lawton has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as an Infantry Officer in the US Army from 2003 to 2006. Tim then joined the 75th Ranger Regiment, US Army in 2006. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as an AVP of Investment Banking at Barclays. From 2013 to 2015, they were the Director of Prime Services at UBS Investment Bank. In 2015, they co-founded SightX, a venture-backed, AI-powered, end-to-end consumer research platform, where they served as Co-CEO. Tim also served on the Advisory Committee on the Readjustment of Veteran's Affairs at the US Department of Veterans Affairs from 2009 to 2010.
Tim Lawton obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Military Academy at West Point between 1999 and 2003. Tim then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration degree in Corporate Finance from the MIT Sloan School of Management between 2008 and 2010. Additionally, they hold certifications as a Freefall Skydiver, B-License from the U.S. Parachute Association (USPA) and as an Open Water Scuba Diver from Scuba Schools International.
