Mark Walker

Mark Walker is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in biochemistry and enzymology, currently serving as a Senior Production Scientist at MilliporeSigma since 2014. In this role, Mark has been instrumental in establishing a new department focused on enhancing manufacturing processes and assay methods. Prior to this, Mark held positions as a Senior Scientist at Akermin, Inc., managing the Biochemistry Department and coordinating research with third-party organizations. A significant tenure at Pfizer involved establishing expertise in Cyclooxygenase enzymology, contributing to the successful launch of Celebrex. Mark's career also includes roles at Monsanto and academic research at Emory University and the University of Arizona, culminating in a PhD in Biochemistry/Enzymology from Emory University.
