Franklin P. began their career in 2011 as a CAD/Research & Development Engineer at WhisperKOOL, where they managed the creation of all 3D CAD work and 2D drawing generation, and strategically built out and led an in-house prototype fabrication shop. Franklin then moved on to Production Manager in the same company, where they developed and maintained forecasts to support multiple product line production schedules, successfully implemented a JIT inventory system addressing cross-functional needs, and optimized SOPs to enable improved order turnaround from 5 days to same-day delivery. In 2017, Franklin P. became an Operations Consultant at MOTODEMIC, where they sourced and implemented an ERP system to address the business' most critical pain points, leveraged lean manufacturing principles to increase workflow efficiency, decrease waste, and refine quality standards, and worked with the founder to design, test, and manufacture new products. From 2018 to 2021, Franklin P. worked at Fictiv as a Business Analyst (Data Focus), where they performed in-depth analysis and delivered sophisticated reports with e-staff summaries on projects ranging from customer segmentation and conversion rates to supply chain effectivity and efficiency, automated robust production tracking systems to provide cross-functional teams with insights into fulfillment success, failures and RCA trends, supplier sourcing needs, and overall opportunities for improvement, and was a subject matter expert within the Operations team for their ERP, platform, and data model infrastructure. Currently, Franklin P. is a Solutions Engineer at Sigma Computing, where they are inspired by the spreadsheet knowledge workers were raised on and is empowering anyone - from the data team to analysts and domain experts at every level - to analyze data, without code or extracts, and make insight-driven decisions quickly.
Franklin P. attended Get Kaizened, Inc. from 2015 to 2016, where they studied Lean Manufacturing. Franklin then completed a course in Injection Molding at Routsis Training in 2019, followed by a Data Science course at General Assembly in 2019-2020.
