Pearce R. has worked in a variety of roles in the software engineering and web development industries. In 2022, Pearce began working as a Full Stack Software Engineer at Sigma Computing. From 2019 to 2018, Pearce worked as a Full Stack Software Engineer and a Frontend Software Engineer at SingleStore. During this time, Pearce developed and maintained public facing web properties using React and Gatsby, designed and developed custom component design systems, and migrated static blogs to dynamic MDX component based applications. From 2018 to 2017, Pearce worked at Proofpoint as an Associate Frontend Software Engineer (DevOps), a Junior Frontend Software Engineer (DevOps), a Frontend Dev Ops Engineering Work Study Intern, and a Frontend Dev Ops Engineering Intern. In 2017, Pearce worked as a Carbon Estimator at the California Department of Conservation, building an advanced web app to forecast accumulation of carbon in restored riparian ecosystems over time. Also in 2017, Pearce worked as a Web Developer at A Style Experience, consulting with a client on content and style to maximize new business growth. In 2016, Pearce worked as a Lifeguard and Camp Counselor at Marin Sierra Boy Scout Camp.

Pearce R. attended the International School of Amsterdam from 2013 to 2015, where they obtained an Internation Baccalaureate. Pearce then attended Santa Clara University from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a degree in Web Design and Engineering.
