Rachel Dong is an AI/ML Engineer at Sigma since September 2025, with previous experience as a Research Scientist at Riot Games, where the focus was on generative AI and large language models for gaming. Prior roles include Machine Learning Engineer at Cruise, working on scene understanding for traffic restrictions, and Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Unity, specializing in 3D computer vision and human pose estimation for the Unity Metacast project. Rachel also contributed to the Unity ML-Agents Toolkit and held research positions at Cornell Tech and Unity Technologies. Early research experience includes developing a chatbot for dialogue negotiation at Academia Sinica and innovative approaches to named entity recognition, resulting in a publication at EMNLP 2017. Rachel holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from National Tsing Hua University.
