Sigma Pi Theta, founded in 1979, is a local social sorority dedicated to creating a close-knit community for the support of female-identifying and non-binary Emerson students. Through events and philanthropies, Sigma members find unity and inspiration. The members hold each other to high standards while also providing reassurance and encouragement. Established on pillars of sisterhood, trust, and love, the sorority has bonded together people from diverse backgrounds and stories with the common goal of uplifting and supporting the growth of a strong, powerful circle of people.
