Hans Eilers

Hans Eilers has over 25 years of work experience in various technical roles, primarily in the technology industry. Hans is currently serving as the Director of Application Engineering at SigmaSense since December 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Synaptics for five years as a Senior FAE in the Biometrics Products Division.

Hans has also held positions at Alps Electric North America as a Customer Solutions Manager for Secure Solutions, at Cirque Corporation as a Technical Program Manager for Notebook Solutions, and at Dell in multiple roles. At Dell, they were a Senior Input Devices Engineer responsible for defining and delivering touch and input device solutions. Hans also served as a Lead Device Driver Engineer, managing external device driver vendors and assisting in vendor selection. Additionally, they worked as a Lead Portables Software Engineer, coordinating software vendors for notebook platforms, and as a System Test Engineer, owning and managing end-to-end test plans for new portable platforms.

Prior to their time at Dell, Hans worked at IPC Technologies (formerly Austin Computer Systems) as a Mobile Products Engineer, collaborating with OEM vendors on portable product development. Hans earned several Editors' Choice awards during this time. Hans also worked at Austin Computer Systems as a Technical Support Group Leader, managing a team of phone technicians and resolving customer escalations.
