Derek Doyle is the Chief Science Officer at Sigmatech, where they focus on expanding the company's space vision and portfolio. With a strong background in mechatronics, structural health monitoring, and additive manufacturing, they have held significant roles at the Air Force Research Laboratory as both Assistant Chief Scientist and Agile Manufacturing Lead. Derek has also served as a Senior Engineer at Modern Technology Solutions, Inc. and is currently providing specialized consulting through Doyle Innovations. They hold a PhD in Electrical Engineering from The University of New Mexico, along with a Master's in Mechatronics and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.
