Michael Hough

Michael Hough is the Commander of AFROTC Detachment 890 at the University of Virginia, serving in this role from 2019 to 2023. They have extensive military leadership experience, including positions such as Commander of the 30th Space Wing and the 527th Space Aggressor Squadron. Hough worked as a Professor at the U.S. Naval War College from 2011 to 2013, contributing to the Strategy and Policy Division. Currently, they are a Senior Subject Matter Expert at Sigmatech, while pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Human Services. Hough is also a graduate of various military educational programs, including the USAF Weapons School and the U.S. Naval War College.
