Chris G. has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Chris is currently the Executive Vice President of Operations at SignalWire, where they oversee various departments and works closely with the CEO and executive team on overall strategy. Prior to that, they served as the Deputy Commander at REDCOM Great Lakes in the U.S. Navy Reserve, where they were responsible for mobilization readiness and mentorship for over 5,000 sailors.

Chris also has experience in technology companies such as Cisco, where they served as the Senior Director of Product Marketing, Digital Experiences, and Data Insights. Chris transformed digital marketing design, messaging, and technologies and had responsibility for marketing strategy and execution. Additionally, they have worked as an investor and advisor for startups, including Butterfleye and Circle Medical.

Before their time at SignalWire and Cisco, Chris held leadership positions at VMware as Director of Cloud Solutions, Civic Technologies as VP of Product Marketing and Business Development, Apple as a GTM+RTM Strategist, and Barracuda Networks as President of Third Iris. Chris also gained experience at General Dynamics as a Program Manager and Product Owner and Microsoft as a Product Manager and Product Marketing Manager.

Their work experience reflects their ability to lead teams, drive growth, and make successful business transformations.

Chris G. holds a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Management Science and Engineering from Stanford University, a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Physics - Solid State from William & Mary, and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Physics from the United States Naval Academy. Chris has also obtained various certifications, including a security clearance of TS/SCI with polygraph. Additionally, Chris has completed several professional development programs, such as courses at Harvard Business School, Naval Postgraduate School, National Defense University, and U.S. Naval War College, focusing on areas such as leading product innovation, emerging technology awareness for the warfighter, national security, military joint operations planning and strategy, and military and strategic leadership.
