Simon Jönsson

Simon Jönsson has extensive work experience in the field of data science, machine learning, and software engineering. Simon is currently working as a Data Science / Machine Learning Engineer Consultant at Signific since August 2022. Prior to that, they were employed at ACNR Cyber Technology as a Machine Learning Engineer from March 2022 to August 2022.

Before transitioning into machine learning, Simon worked at Sectra as a Data Scientist / Data Engineer from February 2021 to March 2022, and as a Software Engineer from June 2019 to February 2021. Simon also gained research experience as a Master Thesis Student at KTH Royal Institute of Technology from January 2019 to June 2019 and as a Research Assistant at RISE SICS EAST AB from June 2018 to September 2018.

Simon's career in the technology field began as an Amanuens at Linköping University from January 2017 to October 2017. Overall, they have acquired a diverse skillset and a strong background in data science, machine learning, software engineering, and research.

Simon Jönsson obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Linköping University, which they pursued from 2013 to 2016. Subsequently, they attended the same university to pursue a Master of Science degree in Statistics with a focus on Statistics and Machine Learning. Simon completed their Master's program from 2017 to 2019.
