Felipe Bocca

Felipe Bocca is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in various roles, currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Signifyd since November 2023. Prior to this, Felipe was an Invited Researcher at H.IAAC, contributing to machine learning applications in finance and credit with a focus on interpretability and fairness, while co-authoring scientific texts and providing technical advisement. In the role of Information Technology Manager at re.green, Felipe led IT infrastructure development and collaborated with teams to transition R&D artifacts into production code. Previous experience includes serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Cargill, where Felipe enhanced process efficiency within a soy crushing plant, and at Itaú-Unibanco, where key responsibilities included building credit score models. Felipe’s academic background includes a Ph.D. in Agricultural Engineering, a Master of Science in Decision Support Systems, and a Bachelor’s degree from Universidade Estadual de Campinas.
