Michael Lun

Michael Lun, PhD, currently serves as a Systems Engineer at Sigray, Inc., where responsibilities include leading the development of the AttoMap-310 XRF Microscope, renowned for its low-Z detection capabilities and high spatial resolution. Prior to this role, Michael contributed to the University of California, Merced as a Postdoctoral Researcher and a Graduate Student Researcher in the Biomedical Imaging lab, culminating in a Ph.D. in Bioengineering in 2020. Additional experience includes serving as a Graduate Teaching Assistant across various engineering and natural sciences courses and leading an engineering project at Valley Children's Hospital during a capstone project. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from UC Merced, obtained in 2014.
