Bin Ren has a diverse work experience in the finance and technology sectors. Bin founded SIG Technologies Limited in 2019 and served as the Founder and CEO. Prior to that, in 2018, they founded Elwood Technologies and held the position of Founder. Bin also served as the Chief Executive Officer of Elwood Technologies from 2018 to 2020. From 2015 to 2019, Bin Ren worked at Brevan Howard as the Chief Investment Officer of the Systematic Investment Group. Bin also served as a Partner and Portfolio Manager of Systematic Strategies at Decura IM LLP from 2013 to 2015. Bin Ren started their career in 2007 at Barclays Investment Bank, where they were a Vice President in Quantitative Investment Strategy Trading until 2013.
Bin Ren attended Shanghai Jiao Tong University from 1999 to 2003, where they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering. From 2003 to 2007, they then pursued their education at the University of Cambridge, majoring in Computer Science.
