Stuart Broadfoot, Ph.D. has a strong background in quantitative analytics and research. Stuart began their career at the University of Oxford as a PhD student, where they conducted research on the generation of quantum entanglement over long distances. Their work focused on creating new quantum algorithms for secure quantum cryptography and distributed quantum computing.
After completing their PhD in 2012, Stuart joined Brevan Howard as a Graduate and gained experience as a Quantitative Analyst and Portfolio Strategist. During this time, they developed skills in quantitative analysis and played a key role in portfolio strategy.
In 2019, Stuart joined SigTech as a Senior Quantitative Researcher, where they conducted research and developed quantitative models. Stuart quickly progressed to the position of Head of Quantitative Analytics, overseeing the team's research initiatives. Later, they served as a VP Quantitative Analytics before being promoted to Vice President of Engineering in June 2022.

Stuart Broadfoot, Ph.D. pursued a comprehensive education in the fields of Physics and Mathematics. From 2008 to 2012, they attended the University of Oxford, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Physics. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2008, they studied at the University of Cambridge, earning both MA and MMath degrees in Mathematics.
In addition to their formal education, Stuart has also obtained two additional certifications. In October 2019, they completed the "Artificial Intelligence for Trading Nanodegree" program offered by Udacity. Stuart also completed the "Deep Learning Nanodegree" program from Udacity in April 2018.
