Arvind Rao has worked in a variety of roles in the corporate world. In 2005, they began their career as a Research Intern at IBM. The following year, they joined Fortis MeesPierson as a Senior Associate in Corporate Finance & Capital Markets. In 2009, they moved to BST Company as a Senior (Investment) Manager. In 2013, they became an Investment Manager and Co-founder at The Hatch Firm (Venture Capital). In 2014, they became a Mentor at Startupbootcamp. Finally, in 2015, they Co-Founded Siilo, Europe's largest and fastest growing secure messaging and network platform for healthcare professionals.

Arvind Rao attended the Delft University of Technology from 1998 to 2005, where they earned a Master of Science in Systems Engineering, Policy Analysis and Management. In 2004, they took electives at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. From 1997 to 1999, they attended the University of Amsterdam, where they earned a Propedeuse in Artificial Intelligence. In 2006 and 2008, they attended the Amsterdam Institute of Finance (AIF) and completed specialized financial courses in Foundations of Finance, Advanced Valuation, and Mergers & Acquisitions.
