Stephen Simmons

Stephen is a seasoned data science and risk thought leader with a global track record.

He started his career at the Boston Consulting Group and held diverse data, credit risk and technology roles at banks in Australia, the Netherlands and the UK. These include Head of Data and Analytics Engineering at JP Morgan Equities and CRO and Head of Data Science at consumer lender Oakam. He holds a BSc, BEng and PhD, and an MBA from INSEAD. Stephen is a former winner of the ICPC world programming competition, regularly presents at Python conferences and is actively involved in open source software communities.
