Paul Eguia

Paul Eguia is a Sustainable Sourcing Strategy Manager at SILAB since March 2020, focusing on the sustainable sourcing of raw materials in compliance with policies on sustainable development and fair trade. Prior to this, Paul operated as a Raw Material Sourcing Advisor from January 2019 to March 2020, supporting sustainable supply chains for the cosmetics industry through expertise in international resource agreements and a strong background in horticulture and plant sciences. Paul served as Executive Director at CAPTURED PLANET LTD from September 2016 to January 2019, providing conservation horticulture training and promoting environmental awareness in South America. Educational credentials include an M.Sc in Plant and Fungal Taxonomy from Queen Mary University of London and a Kew Diploma in Botanical Horticulture.
