Soroush Ali Sobhani

Soroush Ali Sobhani has worked in various roles since 2013. From 2013 to 2016, they were a Laboratory Instructor and Laboratory Engineer at the National Centre for III-VI Technologies. Soroush then moved to the University of Glasgow where they were a Post Doctoral Research Assistant and PHD Researcher from 2016 to 2020. In 2020, they joined Dell Technologies as a Research Scientist. Most recently, in 2022, they started working as a Senior Scientist - Laser Technology Lead at SiLC Technologies, Inc.

Soroush Ali Sobhani completed a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with Telecommunication from The University of Sheffield in 2010. Soroush then went on to earn a Master of Science in Semiconductor Photonics and Engineering from The University of Sheffield in 2011. Finally, they completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Glasgow in 2019.
