Peter Jones

Peter Jones is a Distinguished Engineer at Cisco, where they focus on Enterprise, IoT, and Data Center networking hardware. With over 30 years of experience in software and system architecture, Peter has held prominent roles including Principal Engineer at Luminous Networks and Project Manager at the Co-operative Research Center for Broadband Telecommunications and Networking. They also served as Chair of the NBASE-T Alliance and the Ethernet Alliance, contributing to significant standards as a consensus builder for IEEE 802.3 Task Forces. Peter holds a BSc in Computer Science and Physics from the University of Western Australia. Currently, they are an Advisor at Silicon Catalyst.
