Eddy Bell

Eddy Bell is a seasoned engineering professional with a rich background in RF systems and validation, currently serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Silicon Labs since July 2011, leading the RF Systems and Validation team for the MCU Wireless Division. Prior experience includes roles as Applications Engineering Manager and Staff Engineer in the Broadcast Audio Division, as well as Hardware Systems Engineering Manager and Principle Engineer at ST-Ericsson, where management and design of transceiver integrated circuits were key responsibilities. Eddy's earlier career spans positions at Silicon Laboratories, Advanced Micro Devices, and Lockheed Martin, focusing on RF solutions, design platforms, and avionics systems. Eddy holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington, complemented by a strong foundational education in mathematics.
